Skinpood
Now there are some letters in the English alphabet that Koreans can't pronounce, such as the letter "f", because there is no such letter in the Korean alphabet, hangul. So they replace "f" with "p".
"figure 3c" becomes "pigure 3c"
"frequency" becomes "prequency"
"Fourier transform" becomes "Pourier transform"
"fuzzy logic" becomes "pujji logic"
"if" becomes "ip"
"fish" becomes "bitch"
It doesn't matter whether the lecturer got his degree from the USA, old habits die hard.
And yesterday, Leo saw in his credit card statement: "Skinpood". Which is actually "Skinfood"!
